The Norwegian Championship of poker 2017 will be held in the Thon Hotel Oslo Airport. This year the event will run 22-28 November with a wide variety of tournaments and features.

The Norwegian Championship is the first and only real money tournament series in Norway and it’s run by GPTL in cooperation with Norsk Pokerforbund and their president, Sigurd Eskeland.

This will be the third season for the Norwegian Championship: the previous two editions registered a total of 4,187 players for the Main Event and a combined 7,233 unique players.

The overall schedule includes an assorted offer of games for all kind of players: a NLH Deepstack (November 22), a PL Omaha (November 23) and an 8 game (November 27) among the others. The Main Event features a Kr 5,000 buy-in, 30,000 starting stack and three flights (23, 24 and 25 November).
